How to change cPanel password?

Unauthorized access to information is one of the biggest problems that people working in the field of technology may face. Sometimes this problem can lead to all the information being leaked and a person’s efforts being lost.

One of the important passwords that should be paid attention to is the one to enter the user panel of the website, which webmasters should be very careful about. In this article from the Licenses.Center knowledge base, we examine how to reset the cPanel password.

By default, the password to enter the host is chosen by the hosting service provider. For this reason, it is better to change the password in cPanel.

To change your cPanel password, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. In the “Preferences” section, click on “Password & Security“.

3. Enter your current password in the “Old Password” field.

4. Enter your new password in the “New Password” field.

5. Confirm your new password by entering it again in the “New Password (again)” field.

6. Click on the “Change your password now!” button.

Your cPanel password should now be changed. It is important to choose a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and to avoid using easily guessable information like your name or birthdate.
